Get Ready to Cruise into Community!
October is our stewardship month, full of music and fun.
Our theme this year is “Cruising Into Community,” based on Psalm 133:1, “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!”
Join us every Sunday in October, especially October 26, our Extravagant Generosity Sunday, when we offer up our pledge cards to the glory of God.

Choir Resumes!
Our lovely choir, under the leadership of the equally lovely Linnea, will resume rehearsals on Tuesday, September 16, in the sanctuary. Weekly rehearsals are from 7:30 - 8:45 pm.
A desire to praise God through music is the only requirement. Join us!

Family Camp will take place on Saturday, September 27, to Sunday, September 28, at Camp Magruder on the coast. The registration deadline is this Sunday, August 24, so we can calculate the cost, organize cabins, and plan food. (Contact Sandy H directly if you need more time to register).

There will be a Celebration of Life service for Tammy Ely on Saturday, August 16, at 11:00 am.
Pastor Brett will lead the service, to be held at Westside.

Honoring Gerry Edwards
A memorial service will be held for Gerry Edwards at Westside UMC tomorrow, August 2nd, at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family would invite contributions to the new Gerald E. Edwards School of Biological Sciences Excellence Endowment at Washington State University. Those wishing to donate should contact Justin Smith at jnsmith@wsu.edu to make a contribution.
