Get Ready to Cruise into Community!
October is our stewardship month, full of music and fun.
Our theme this year is “Cruising Into Community,” based on Psalm 133:1, “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!”
Join us every Sunday in October, especially October 26, our Extravagant Generosity Sunday, when we offer up our pledge cards to the glory of God.

Also bring your neighbors, family, friends, and their animals!
Following the service under the tent, we will have an old-fashioned ice cream social.

Choir Resumes!
Our lovely choir, under the leadership of the equally lovely Linnea, will resume rehearsals on Tuesday, September 16, in the sanctuary. Weekly rehearsals are from 7:30 - 8:45 pm.
A desire to praise God through music is the only requirement. Join us!

Following the service, we will join with the other congregations that use the property for a barbecue! The Korean Evangelical Church will provide hamburgers; Westsiders are asked to bring salads, chips, or drinks.

Last Chance to RSVP
Family Camp will take place on Saturday, September 27, to Sunday, September 28, at Camp Magruder on the coast. The registration deadline is this Sunday, August 24, so we can calculate the cost, organize cabins, and plan food. (Contact Sandy H directly if you need more time to register).

Funds have already been set aside to cover most of the expenses. The final cost to you (if there is any) will be available shortly after August 24 (and financial assistance will be available).

Wed/Thu/Fri (Aug 20,21,22) afternoons - care for his sons while he packs
Sat/possibly Sun afternoons - help load and unload the moving truck. Could require some heavy lifting
