RSVP for Hagg Lake
On Sunday, July 14, we will have our annual worship service at the lake! We have secured Sain Pavilion ( a covered area) at Henry Hagg Lake. Service begins at 11:00 am to give you time to drive out.
After the service, the events team will provide hot dogs and sausages. Please RSVP here so that we have a good headcount. You may also sign up to bring a side dish.
Printed directions will be available on Sunday mornings on the entryway table. There is a small fee to enter the lake area, so consider carpooling.

Hagg Lake is on July 14
On Sunday, July 14, we will have our annual worship service at the lake! We have secured Sain Pavilion ( a covered area) at Henry Hagg Lake. Service begins at 11:00 am to give you time to drive out.
If you have never attended, you’re in for a treat! We have all the usual worship elements - live music, prayer, and loving fellowship - but with fresh air and by a lake!
After the service, the events team will provide lunch. Watch for an RSVP signup sheet next week.

Senior Resources Fair
Are you looking for caregiving resources for an aging parent?
Village Church, 330 SW Murray Blvd, is hosting a Senior Resource Fair on Saturday, July 13, from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm.
This free, informative event will include a panel from the Portland Elder Care Council at 11:00 and information booths on topics that can increase the quality of care for older adults. Click here for the flyer.
Raffles and prizes will be available throughout the morning.
WFWA Summer Campaign Continues
The Western Farm Workers Association members need the following items:
white rice
dried pinto beans
cooking oil
peanut butter
pasta
pasta sauce
masa (corn flour)
sunscreen
first aid kits
bandages
adult toothbrushes
toothpaste
bottled water
reusable water bottles
long-sleeve shirts (men’s & women’s)
hooded sweatshirts
jeans (men’s sizes 28-34 and women’s)
sneakers in good condition (adult)
hats
blenders
microwaves
rugs
There is a basket in the church entryway where you can donate these items and Merry G will get them to the WFWA office. Or drop them off at 725 SE 7 Ave in Hillsboro, 9 am - 9 pm.

This Sunday - Graduate Celebration!
Youth Sunday will be this Sunday, June 9.
We will also celebrate our graduates that day, with a reception in the Lighthouse following the worship service.

Donations & Meals for Migrant Workers
Meals for the migrant workers at Heike’s Farm begin this Saturday at 5:00 pm. Each year, Bonnie leads this team to provide hot meals as well as providing toiletries, clothes, household goods, and more.

Next week is our dinner at HomePlate Youth Services - on Thursday, June 6. Setup begins at 4:00, food service at 6:00. Please contact Bonnie if you can help that evening.
If you can’t attend, you can donate food for the dinner. All items are purchased so it’s super simple. Visit our signup today - food should be at the church this Sunday, June 2. Thanks!
