What About My Kids?

Westside is a family-friendly environment. We believe that children are a blessing from God and are a vital part of every local church. We do not offer any “children’s church” as we believe children are a part of the entire church family. They are the church of today.  Families are encouraged to worship together. We know that having kids in worship with us brings some extra “kid noise” with it – and we like it that way. We love having families with kids of all ages worshiping together with us.  

Sometimes a young person may need space to be more themselves, and if that’s the case, we do offer a safe, joyful environment where our kids’ team will love your littles (5 and under). But know, we do not consider the noise a child may make to be a disruption. 

For your peace of mind, if you do decide to utilize the nursery, please know that we have committed to following Safe Sanctuaries, the United Methodist guidelines to protect children, youth, and vulnerable adults.
