Dear Friends of Westside,
Western Farm Workers Association has been busy this Fall, signing up members and finding new volunteers for the upcoming holidays.
We will have a food distribution for Thanksgiving on Tuesday November 23rd. We need to collect foods for this event, especially frozen meat and poultry. We will need volunteers to make up food boxes and deliver them to members' homes. Can you help us out this year?
There will be a distribution of toys and clothing for children in December, as well as family food baskets. Parents sign up for the gifts for their children, and volunteers help collect, sort, and deliver these items. Toy drives will begin soon. Any new items of winter clothing for kids up to high school age are most needed. More news on that event coming soon.
