Here is an update on the Western Farm Workers Association. We have been organizing in Washington County for 35 years without government funding, providing members with emergency food, clothing, networking, and access to legal and health services.
We have distributed more than 15,000 pounds of non-perishable food and 10,000 pounds of fresh groceries in just the last six months!
We are still looking for a donated space that we can use for a clothing closet in the Hillsboro area. It will be a space that can store and display clothing, open 2 to 3 days a week, for six months if possible. All clothing is free of charge.
