Just a reminder that Pastor Brett is on a ‘study and spiritual growth leave’ for the next four to five weeks.

Pentecost!

This Sunday, June 8, is Pentecost.

Pentecost marks the day the Holy Spirit was poured out upon the apostles and other followers of Jesus, empowering them to preach the gospel. It's celebrated on the 7th Sunday after Easter, symbolizing the fulfillment of Jesus' promise to send the Holy Spirit.

Join us at 10:00 am as Rev Brian Shimer brings the message, "What are you expecting God to do?"

Pastor Brett is on a ‘study and spiritual growth leave’ for the next four to five weeks.

During this time, let’s get into the practice of directing questions and concerns to the individuals who have accepted church leadership roles and responsibilities in several areas:

  • Council Chair – Sandy Holt

    •   General concerns or questions. She can also direct you to the proper person

  • Trustees – Mark Walker and Rich Holt

    •    Building and property repair & maintenance (Mark)

    • Questions or issues with other congregations on the campus (Rich)

    •    Short-term renter issues, issues in the Lighthouse due to renters (Mark)

  • Finance – Sandy Holt

    •    Please contact her for direction

  • Staff Parish Relations (SPRC) Rich Holt and Wendy Fedderly

    •    Human Resource or Staff issues

  • Worship Team/Music Ministries – Sandy Holt

  • Sound – Rich Holt

  • Audio Visual – Fred Cooper

  • General office management – Virginia Cooper

    • Supplies (hospitality and janitorial)

    • Internal calendar of events

    • Website and weekly emails

Baby Shower

We are hosting a baby shower for a Road 2 Hope mom and her one-month-old baby girl.

Diapers and new or gently used clothing are most needed. If you prefer, you may donate towards the purchase of a gift.

The shower is on Wednesday, June 4, at 6:30 pm. If you would like to attend, please contact Bonnie B.

Just Four More Days...

If you’re planning on attending the Women’s Mini-Retreat this Saturday, May 10, please RSVP using the link below, so that we have plenty of everything for everyone!
