Family Promise of Greater Washington County invites Westsiders to join their second annual Night Without a Bed event, an impactful overnight experience to raise awareness about family homelessness and raise much-needed funds for those facing housing instability.
This event is part of their mission to break the cycle of homelessness and empower families toward stability, as they expand their services, including opening the new Hillsboro House Shelter. Participants are encouraged to sleep without a bed—in a sleeping bag, car, couch, or tent—to better understand the hardships faced by families without stable housing.
Event and Registration Details:
Date: Saturday, October 26th – Sunday, October 27th
Time: 5:30 PM to 7:30 AM
Location: Southminster Presbyterian Church, 12250 SW Denney Road, Beaverton
Suggested Donation: $10 per person (or a package of toilet paper). Children under 5 are free.
Meals: Dinner and a to-go breakfast will be provided.
Staying overnight is not required, but we ask that you stand in solidarity by choosing an alternative sleeping arrangement.

If you don’t receive either text, we may not have your mobile phone number (or it’s incorrectly labeled as a landline.) Please contact the church office at office@westsidejourney.org - we are happy to help!
